Sonya Stribling - Director

Sonya’s background is vast, with experience in recruitment, senior management and dealing with a variety of industries, she understands what it takes both as a client and candidate to be happy in a business and productive.

“I’ve been lucky through my many years in the freight industry and my time temping in a variety of businesses. This has shown me how important it is to understand a company, it’s requirements, culture and the company’s future endeavours in order to ensure the best quality candidate for the job.”

Canterbury born, Sonya worked in the legal secretarial field before securing a role in the freight forwarding industry, she then worked in many temp positions overseas before returning to Christchurch and working for a well established reputable freight forwarder. Her progression and promotion through the company left her with top skills in management and sales, a full understanding of all aspects of freight logistics and a broad knowledge of her client’s diverse industries.

Sonya established herself in the recruitment industry whilst living in Auckland where she worked with a variety of industries, including manufacturing, communications, freight and logistics, covering a range of roles from junior to senior appointments.

Back in Christchurch and back in recruitment Sonya has now decided to go into business for herself. "In recruitment I think it is very much about the relationship you build with the person you are dealing with, top services and resources, communication between all parties and plenty of hard work which makes a successful business.
