ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is well established transport company who has offices across NZ. They offer transport and logistics services and are very personable and look to go above and beyond the call of duty.  

ABOUT THE ROLE
The role has come about as there has been an internal promotion. The role is all about managing and leading the general transport operation at the Branch. The expectation is that the successful candidate will continue to drive the success of the Branch both from a financial perspective and continue to drive customer relationships, maximise productivity and lead and develop the staff. Having a real passion for Health and Safety is also critical as having a fleet of over 30 trucks you will need to be very driven. You will be supported by staff on the ground that have a real good understanding of the operation so you will be able to utilise their knowledge. 

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 5 plus years management experience in the transport industry with excellent customer service and sales experience. We would also like to see the below attributes;
  • Be able to adapt and cope with constant change and drive success 
  • Need to have a proven track record of success in managing staff and a branch 
  • Excellent communication skills required 
  • Excellent business acumen and the the drive to run a successful operation
