The client is a large, well known nationwide insurance brokerage company, which is experiencing significant growth as a result of the quality of the solutions they deliver for their clients.Part of their ongoing success is due to a company structure that allows staff the ability to own their roles and grow within the business. Vacancies here are often as a result of internal promotions and transfers.
About the Role
Available due to a recent retirement our client is taking the opportunity to increase the responsibility and growth prospects with this role. Initially you will be responsible for handling the various policy queries, supporting the other two broker supports and liaising with underwriters. As you’ll be handling incoming queries we’re looking for someone with a proactive approach and ultimately be on the look-out for sales opportunities; longer term potentially moving in to a a capacity of writing life and health policies.
Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in the life and health insurance sector, or from fire and general. Perhaps you’re looking for more responsibility with an opportunity to prove yourself and gain an opportunity to move in to an advisory role.
At a minimum we will expect candidates to be fro a professional background in either a sales, sales support or mid to senior admin role.
You’ll definitely be:
- Proactive and well organised
- Engaging and use your initiative
- Diligent and technology savvy
- Engaging, down to earth and love dealing with people
- At least intermediate across the Microsoft Office suite
