Machine Operator – Converting/Setting (Nightshift)

ABOUT THE COMPANY


Our client is a privately owned and operated company, having been in the industry for over 20 years in the production of printed and unprinted flexible packaging. They are nimble in their approach by changing and adapting to trend and production changes. 
 

ABOUT THE ROLE


The role requires manufacturing of plastic bags and plastic film, so experience in this field would be desirable, however training will be given for the right person. Ideally you will have a mechanical aptitude as operation of machinery is required. This is a permanent, full-time role on 

Night Shift

 (6pm-6am), 

Monday to Thursday. 

Training will be provided during the day until you are comfortable to go onto nightshift alone.

  • RELIABILITY
  • PHYSICALLY FIT – There is heavy lifting involved
  • TEAM PLAYER – Working with heavy machinery so the team need to know you have their back
  • Yes you must be able to pass a pre-employment drugs test 
  • Your own reliable transport
Applicants will be required to complete a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check.

Please note, only those with the current, legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered.
